As you grow older, you stop taking advantage of a backyard pool. You don't want to jump and splash and get your hair wet. I also don't feel safe doing anything like that when I swim alone, hence why I ordered an Amazon life vest. I wanted something that allowed me to have pool fun. Playing in water brings me joy!

I opted for an Amazon life jacket since I didn't need top-notch quality. I chose the Airhead life vest, which is Type III and good for pools [no waves]. First, I tried the Small/Medium size then I opted for the X-Small size. (The Airhead life jacket options were only Adult sizes.) I am 5'2" at 105lbs with a petite frame. Ultimately, I think that the armpits were too big which caused the jacket to ride up. I might need to shop kid sizes...
