Pork sausage, cabbage, pork & beans… all transformed into a rich, flavorful, almost gourmet meal — using nothing more than a rice cooker.
In today’s video I show how to take simple, inexpensive ingredients and elevate them into something comforting and delicious. We cook the sausage, cabbage, and pork & beans together with seasonings (and a touch of wine!) to make a surprisingly fancy one-pot dish. I also make a fresh tortilla on the side, along with a separate bowl of rice and beans for a complete, hearty meal.
