Mt Flora and Mt Eva are part of a group of 13ers along the Continental Divide that are highly visible from westbound I-70. On previous occasions I was able to summit all other 13ers in the group with exception of Mt Eva, which I intended to correct with this trip. I camped overnight in my van on Berthoud Pass amid fog and snow flurries. The weather cleared up the next morning, and it was a rare bluebird day with little wind. The ascent of Mt Flora was relatively easy. I stopped briefly on Flora and quickly made my way towards Mt Eva. The 600’ steep drop down to the saddle was quite icy and snow packed, and I was glad I brought my spikes for this trip. I reached Mt Eva summit in about 1 hr after leaving Mt Flora. Glad to finally bag this peak. Total stats: 10 miles with 3200’ elevation gain
