Mortal Shell 2 - Fastest Way To Crack Glimpse Stones And Farm Extracted Specimen
A Glimpse Stone sitting in your inventory is worth nothing until it is cracked, and cracking one means covering 20 enemies. That is the part that stalls people. Twenty kills is quick where the enemies are weak and packed together, and slow everywhere else, so the whole job comes down to standing on the right ground.
The ground is the Sunken Village beacon, inside the Glutted Mire. It is an unmapped area and the way in is behind the Mushroom Village Gate, which is why most players finish the game without ever standing here. Follow the bridge through the fog and rest at the beacon when you reach it.
The field around the beacon is full of sheep. They go down fast and there are enough of them to cover a stone in a single sweep. Clear the field, rest at the beacon to bring them all back, and go round again. That is the whole method, and it is the reason this beats hunting twenty real enemies anywhere else on the map.
Extracted Specimen drops in the same field, so the second farm costs you nothing on top of the first. One pass here in this footage pays 450 Gloom and an Extracted Specimen alongside the kills going onto the stone.
