Mortal Shell 2 - How to Get All 5 Blackmarrow Keys - Complete EASY Guide (8 Chests, 5 Keys)
The Blackmarrow Keys open the Shade chests in the Marrow Keep elevator room, and each chest gives a different costume colour for one of the Shells.
Here is the part every other guide gets wrong. There are **8 chests and only 5 keys** in a playthrough, so a single run can never open all of them. Finishing the set means going into NG+.
All five are in this video, in order, with the full route to each.
One warning worth reading before you start. Key 1 needs the Slayer Seal taken, and you should take it without using it, because using it restricts trophies.
The last two keys are Night mode only. Getting there means collecting the Gloombound Flame at the Widow's Overlook beacon, the first beacon in the game, in the area where you fight the Arbiter of Flesh. Then take the lift in Marrow Keep to the top, interact with the lantern table, and ask Thestus to call forth the Night.
Key 5 sits at the end of the first person dungeon, the Shrine of Sorrows, through the three candles, the Starlight Sonata book and the cauldron that takes you to the cursed version of the village.
