The end of the year 2025 is almost upon us and now its time for the Cheapest character in MKT which is Motaro to just trounce everyone ;)
Like all the previous runs, i will be completing the game twice on the Champion ladder at Very Hard while not using continues.
Motaro is by far the most Busted character in the game as not only he has all of the typical hard hitting boss attacks but also for how his character itself works within the game. Motaro has the special ability to Reflect projectiles giving him a massive advantage over all other bosses in the game. In the MK3 Motaro's reflection was even more broken as in Trilogy, it was somewhat nerfed so that projectiles will be reflected beyond sweep distance so at very close range he can be hit with then but its still really busted. Like all other bosses most special moves will simply not work on Motaro but he manages to up this to eleven as even less moves will work properly on him like many moves that typically would launch a character will either hit Motaro for a minor hit stun or a simple knockback that the opponent cant get anything out of it.
Motaro has fewer special moves compared to the other bosses but the few that he has is already more then enough to just break the game: His projectile goes into a unique arc that makes it nigh impossible to counter and if Motaro's Mirror body wasnt enough, he has a Teleport that is both the fastest and its near impossible to punish it even for the Cheating AI and its -1 frame reactions but by far the most busted thing about Motaro is his throw loop which is a actual infinite in the corner. Typically Motaro's regular throw will have him throw the opponent behind him but when Motaro is in the corner, his throw trajectory will change by only throwing the characters up making then land beside him which you can repeat till they die. Motaro compared to the other bosses has no taunt command but i found a unique way to Humiliate the CPU for the first run before trouncing then. Enjoy the Destruction folks ;)
