I've been planning this cover since I first played the game. I first heard the song playing through the game on stream and my chat told me that there was this secret song you had to go into the settings to unlock and at the time it was this one. They later added Monster as an official third song of week 2 and I'm really glad because not only is it the longest song, but it a lot of ways it's one of the most interesting.

The absolute chaos that is the lyrics aside, the time changes and straight up Danny Elfman feel is astounding and I knew it would be a challenge to take on. What I found however is that it was a really fun exercise in making alternating time in metal still relatively easy to bob your head and follow along to. Plus it was nice to throw in some ska chords. Always love that.

ThunderScott was my first choice for this and he came out to visit about a month ago when we had originally planned to shoot this video. Unfortunately we ran out of time with all the commitments we both had during the week he was here so we planned to do the project remotely after he'd left. I wish we could have done some in psrson shots, but the video came out really cool nonetheless. Hope you enjoy it and you have an awesome Halloween!
