The Monitors were a short lived Australian band and essentially a studio group. “Nobody Told Me” reached #32 in Australia in 1981. Former Beach Boy, Ricky Fataar, joined the band to participate in their 1982 album, “Back From their Recent Ilness” but they disbanded the same year.
Mark Moffat and Rick Fataar went on to work jointly with artists such as Russell Morris, Tim Finn, Q E D and Mental As Anything.
