In 1983, Helen recorded the “Love Theme from Flashdance”, which was written and produced by Giorgio Moroder. The album on which it was featured went on to sell 6 million copies in the US. It reached the top of the album charts in the US, the UK, Australia and Germany.

The prior year Helen had gone to Munich and to record the album, “Power To The Piano” with Giorgio, Harold Faltermeyer and Sylvester Levay. Helen made one further album with the above gentlemen, “Take Your Passion” and then re-appeared in 2008 with the Christian Science themed album, “Moment By Moment”.
