The sixth album from the Pet Shop Boys (and their third in the 90s) reached #4 in the UK, #39 in the US, #7 in Germany and #3 in Australia. It gave rise to five singles, four of which charted in the UK. “Saturday Night Forever” was not one of these but it’s a great track nonetheless.
Next up from the gentlemen was the 1999 album, “Nightlife”, which again scored in all the major markets.
