Abstract
BGP monitoring at scale breaks traditional tools. SNMP, gNMI, and full-table dumps fall short on real-time, per-peer visibility in large multi-vendor networks. This talk shows why - and backs it with production benchmarks. We then dive into BMP as a purpose-built solution for full-fidelity BGP telemetry. Finally, we share how we monitor thousands of sessions and tens of millions of routes in production using a BMP-based pipeline.
