This session would highlight Meta’s migration of their enterprise Wi-Fi network to being either IPv6-only or IPv6-first in multiple areas, as well as lessons learned along the way. It will cover the history & rationale behind why we chose to migrate to IPv6 for much of the Wi-Fi network, how we achieved it with multiple enterprise WLAN vendors, and where we currently stand today.
Steve Tam: Steve Tam is a Wireless Network Engineer at Meta with nearly 20 years of experience, primarily in large enterprises covering multiple industries (such as aerospace, automotive, and tech). He has been at Meta for over 8 years, and is responsible for the design, engineering, and support of the corporate wireless network.
