The Japanese jet Mitsubish T-2 was a jet trainer developed in the mid-1960's. It was quite similar to the British SEPECAT Jaguar. The Mitsubishi F-1 was a Japanese jet derived from the Mitsubishi T-2, and served in a ground attack as well as in an anti-ship role.
