The Douglas F-4D Skyray (later redesignated F-6 Skyray) was an American carrier-based fighter/interceptor built by the Douglas Aircraft Company.
The F4-D was eventually developed into the F-5D Skylancer.

The MiG-25 Foxbat (NATO name) was one of the fastest military aircraft ever to enter service. It was constructed as an interceptor, mainly in stainless steel, and was a heavy and not very agile aircraft, although NATO feared it would be.
