1. After bouncing off the second-to-last trampoline in the Bayou, you normally have to wait until you reach the peak of your bounce, then fall onto the next trampoline. However, if you use your helicopter, you can arrest your vertical momentum, letting you make the last bounce sooner. This saves a second or two in a 100% run.
2. By jumping off a net in the right place, you can skip bouncing on a trampoline in the Precipice, saving a few seconds.
3. After getting the five lums right before the first screen fade in Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava, you can get hit by a shadow fuzzball to fall down quickly instead of slowly floating down with the helicopter.
4. If you death warp right after killing Foutch, you can save a few seconds. I think it's a combination of being able to shoot the purple lum sooner and being able to shoot it from a better angle.
5. If you aim your shots correctly, you can hit the cage in the river section of the Iron Mountains from below. If you fail to hit the cage from above, this could be a better alternative than death warping back up to the top.
6. If you slide just the right way into the walking shell section of the Iron Mountains, Rayman starts landing and falling rapidly. You can still control him and get onto the walking shell.
7. For some reason, I fell through the floor while riding a walking shell.
8. Grab some lums in the Prison Ship with the flying shell. For eons, I thought that this was how you were supposed to get those lums. It turns out you can hang onto the walkway from below and use it like monkey bars to reach the lums.
9. Right after killing the Prison Ship miniboss, jump on the lava and you can stand on it.
The rest of this video contains some old tricks that I wanted to document.
10. If you jump at the right time, you can skip a short cutscene in the Menhir Hills.
11. You can get up to the exit platform in the purple lum room of the Menhir Hills using a single purple lum.
12. You can skip some Carmen text by jumping down the stairs after shooting the switch to free Carmen. I think this was found by Unreal.
13. If you ride the walking shell toward the wall with Carmen's switch and then jump at the right time, you can walk underwater. This was found by funkariela in the PC version. If you run to the end of the area, Rayman will start swimming and everything will be normal from there.
14. Jump at the right time to skip the short cutscene in the last room of Whale Bay. The camera acts a little weird if you do this.
15. For some reason, a red lum timer in the Cave of Bad Dreams boss encounter did not expire. It kept going through the cutscene at the end, even when I went to the island. Only when I reached the screen fade did the ticking stop.

![Silo [Modded: No Timer] DLTK Slappers Only 1:53:35
In this video, I play a modified version of the game that disables the timer in Silo. Details on the mod are here:
https://forums.the-elite.net/index.php?msg=489632
For a description of DLTK Slappers Only, see my Surface 2 video:

I cut out most of the chopping from this video because its very boring to watch. I also sped up a few other boring, repetitive parts. An unabridged version is here:

Ive always thought that without the timer, Silo would be a fairly easy level on DLTK and could maybe even be beaten Slappers Only. I decided to give it a try by using a mod that disables the timer. Sure enough, the level was pretty simple and didnt take many attempts. Most of the run is self-explanatory, but one thing I should mention is the door leading from Ourumovs hallway to the catwalk next to the final room. Guards are unable to open this door; I think its the only door in the level with this property. They can warp through it if you unload them, but they dont seem to do so very consistently. To give them a better chance to warp, I run all the way back to the beginning of the level. For the first guard that got stuck behind the door, this worked and he was able to warp through. But the second guard refused to warp, so I had to open the door myself (which I prefer to avoid because its somewhat dangerous).
Unfortunately, there is a strange visual artifact in this video: two horizontal bars move up the screen before looping around to the bottom. While I was playing, I thought something was wrong with my TV, but when I checked the recording I saw that the bars were there too. Im not sure what caused this problem, since I used the exact same setup for my Surface 1 run a few days ago and that video turned out fine. I can only guess that the problem is somehow related to the power supply, since it seemed to get worse when my air conditioner was running (the size and darkness of the bars varied considerably on my TV, even though in the recording they look consistent the whole time). At least this problem turned up while I was playing a goofy category instead of something more serious.
EDIT: It appears that the problem was caused by the AC adapter I was using for my S-video splitter. I replaced the AC adapter and the horizontal lines disappeared. Silo [Modded: No Timer] DLTK Slappers Only 1:53:35](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/87YTdPPNbI4/mqdefault.jpg)
