So I was practicing Bald Bull 1 strats, and actually managed to get a decent time: 1:01.97.
I didn't manage to get it on video, though. So I decided to keep going over and over, recording each one. During this time, I found that if my reflexes were absolutely perfect? There were a few spots where I could save some frames and actually dip BELOW that time. At first, it was just 1:01.84 (IIRC). Then it became 1:01.61. And then I finally got the motherload: I knocked him down on the second phase with 0:44 on the clock. TKO at 1:01.25.
Obviously this isn't the whole fight. But when you're speedrunning MTPO, the first KO of Bald Bull is always exactly the same. You always knock him out at 0:17. And then after that, to get the better times? You're waiting for a random star after the first KO, and then a random pattern at the end of the second. So I was just recording from the beginning of the second phase.
I do plan on getting the entire thing on video, though. It'll just be a long time before I make the stars align and it actually happens.
Edit: It has come to my attention that Zallard1 has gotten a 57:00. It involves an extremely hard to get star in phase two and I'm going to have to figure out how to get it.

This is one of my favorite songs that I learned of while I was in Japan. I did not make the backing track, but thats definitely me playing the lead.
This is taken from various sources. The original song was from Mega Man 2/Rockman 2, and is simply the Wily Stage 2 theme. Then it was turned into a hit video, with vocals. Then into this instrumental version. The title, translated into English, means One Quadrillion. Its part of the lyrics to the song.
In kanji, it is: 億千万.
億 (Oku)= 100,000,000
千 (Sen)= 1,000
万 (Man)= 10,000
The way that Japanese numbers work, is that youd take the numbers and multiply them. If you do that, you get:
1,000,000,000,000,000
And uh, everyone spelling it Okkusenman? Thats wrong.
I added a solo where one repetitive-sounding part of the verse once was. And theres a solo section also already part of the track itself.
Friends Ive shown this to have made comments about me constantly looking to the right. I have no idea why I did that during filming, I guess I was just not paying attention and getting in the mood of the tune. XD
