This is a new trick I learned how to do today that will help speed up my 100% route a bit. Boomer Kuwanger is basically one of the most random bosses you can fight, so getting him into any sort of pattern will greatly reduce your time and difficulty beating him.
Essentially, you fire a charged shot as soon as the fight begins, then do a dash shot and get to a particular spot. Once you get there, Kuwanger will try to grab you and throw you into the ceiling. If you jump at the right time, you can dodge it. On your way down, you shoot a green charged shot at him, and he'll come back to try and grab you again.
Rinse and repeat until he's at half health, where he stops being as random. He will simply teleport around the room, not trying to occupy the same space you are (as he would before half health). At that point, you just stand in the center of the stage (as at the end you move there anyway, so this saves time) and shoot green charged shots at him when he appears.
It's a hard trick to pull off, but it's quite worth it.
