Experiment #497: Orange Light Bulbs
(Rated G) I bought these weird orange light bulbs with a ceramic coating and decided they were perfect for microwaving. They blew up within 30 seconds in what's almost short enough to qualify for an "express episode", which I haven't done for awhile. There's not a whole lot to say about this one. It's just a straightforward (light bulb in a microwave) video but the pops were pretty cool. It was almost the opposite of my first ever light bulb experiment where the 100 watt bulb lasted and lasted and lasted. What was weird is that at no point were both light bulbs lit at the same time, one was lit, blew up, then the other one lit, blew up. The explosion was definitely above average for a light bulb experiment. Microwave Me is currently in its 18th season of production and has now been running on YouTube for over four years, dating back to the old school microwave show period, while being filmed in crystal clear 1080p for the best quality and as always stars Captain Microwave stars as the host and producer, who for this episode uses a 700-watt Hamilton Beach microwave.
