Mickey Mouse – Mickey’s Grand Opera (1936) – Buena Vista reissue titles @erik

I have never seen these Buena Vista opening titles to Mickey’s Grand Opera on any VHS or DVD, but the standard closing title was reused when the original United Artists opening was restored for the version commonly seen today. The boldly designed title card (making me think of a circus rather than a grand opera) is very different from the original’s subtle lettering and gentle ornaments. The colours have sadly faded to almost all red on this 16mm Eastman print.
