A much better digital compass than the QST QMC5883L? We’ll see …

A year ago I made a video series about the QST QMC5883L 3-axis magnetic sensor (links below). As a digital compass it was completely unusable. Now I have a MEMSIC MMC5983MA at hand, which promises to be the best in its class (Hall effect).
I this video we’ll cover the basics: Have a look at the evaluation board I got, a quick squiz into the datasheet, go over an existing library from SparkFun, wire everything up on a breadboard, and finally run two example Arduino sketches.
