Let’s open a dead SONOS Sub and see what’s wrong with it …

When a friend asked me to have a look at his dead SONOS Sub, I did not turn him down. But let’s face it, SONOS products are not exactly repair friendly. Anyway, I’ll show how to open a SONOS Sub with the least damage possible.
After a first look inside we remove the power supply / audio amplifier board. Further inspection reveals that the power supply section is gone for good. But using an external DC supply we can bring the whole thing back to life. So there’s hope.
