These are Super 8mm (sound) movies taken by Jim Leonard while storm chasing in North Texas between Quitaque and Childress on May 11, 1982. A substantial regional tornado outbreak across North Texas and Southern Oklahoma transpired and these were a few of the catches that day, a few at fairly close range.
