A very photogenic tornado transpired across the Hallock, Minnesota region on the evening of July 9, 1995, part of a regional outbreak of tornadoes and severe thunderstorms. This tornado impacted the Kittson County fairgrounds and caused structural property and utility line damage along the path.
This is the full tornado life cycle sequence and "storm chase" on videotape provided by Jon and Laurie Fowler. Short clips were featured on local television news affiliates, The Weather Channel and eventually Tornado Video Classics Volume III.
