Maxim Lighting Falcon (DC/Wet) 52" ceiling fan in black with walnut blades. This fan was featured in my most recent Product Spotlight, per usual check that one out for all the in-depth information. It's a bit more of a basic design than I would usually bring in, however, I found the aspect with the different motors/controls/price points interesting, and it really did serve as a great re-intro to the brand and overall introduction to the conventional fan offerings. There are a lot of aspects I like, more positives than negatives I'd say. Low speed is really the major issue I hold, it is WAY too fast. I complain about 60 RPM being vastly too fast, this is like off the charts. Still despite that, they managed to fit in a distinct range of speeds, but the airflow on low is too much. Hopefully that is something they can dial in more as they get deeper into the products. Otherwise, it's an overall unexpectedly nice build quality, and the blade finish is done well. There's other little stuff that I think could use some fine tuning, but it's a solid first impression early on. I'd be interested in getting into some of the higher-end designs now to see how they stack up, and hopefully we'll get there in due time. Definitely excited to watch the growth and expansion moving forward.
