Around 1930, German boxing world champion Max Schmeling fought an exhibition match against Portuguese heavyweight champion Jose Santa at the Filmring in Berlin-Mariendorf. The footage showed the two boxers under the direction of Reinhold Schünzel. This was a staged event, possibly as part of a film shoot, and not an official title fight.
