Johnson won the fight via disqualification in round 9 of a scheduled 45 rounds, after Flynn repeatedly used illegal tactics, including headbutting. Despite multiple warnings from the referee, Flynn continued fouling, leading to intervention from authorities and the eventual stoppage.
Throughout the bout, Johnson dominated with superior skill and control, easily handling Flynn’s attacks while maintaining composure. The fight became increasingly rough, culminating in its abrupt end in the ninth round.
