LANSING, Ill. — It was strangely quiet on 192nd Place and 192nd Street this morning. The residents most severely impacted by yesterday's "possible tornado" were not on scene, presumably evacuated. The giant trees that had fallen across 192nd Place have been cleared, but power lines were still down. A light drizzle was falling, and the winds would not pick up until after 7 a.m., so the only sound was the rumble of generators.
