As part of his Mayor's Report during the December 2, 2025, regular meeting of the Lansing Village Board, Mayor Brian Hardy presented Civilian Service Awards to eight civilians "in recognition of extraordinary action and heroism following a recent vehicular accident." Applause and certificates were awarded to Laci Boshears, Crystal Briney, Angelique Carrillo, Jean Draves, Ashley Ellis, Chantal Romero, Diana Romero, and Kristen Russell.
Other business was conducted as well during the two-hour meeting, which actually included a public hearing (which was recessed), a regular meeting, and a Committee of the Whole meeting.
