Cristian Delgado and his classmates were pulled out of class Tuesday, where they were surprised to find Delgado’s parents and school officials waiting to tell him something he wasn’t expecting.
The Memorial Junior High student learned his entrance exam score had earned him a full-tuition scholarship to Marian Catholic High School, covering all four years and more than $64,000 in tuition.
