Seagulls Gather | Martyn Pig by Kevin Brooks book review @SeagullsGather | Uploaded July 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
My review of Kevin Brooks' 2002 novel 'Martyn Pig' - a staple in UK schools. Whether you're reading the novel for your GCSE or just for fun there is a lot to like about this murder mystery. Drawing on the work of Arthur Conan Doyle and Raymond Chandler, Kevin Brooks has created a thoughtful and enjoyable murder mystery for young adults (and not so young adults).
