My review of the novelisation of Dragonheart (1996). This book is written by Charles Edward Pogue who also wrote the screenplay with Patrick Read Johnson (who is not credited here). Sir Bowen, a knight and dragonslayer, teams up with the last dragon alive in order to overthrow a tyrant king.
Pogue was one of a few people on the movies cast and crew who felt the original story should have been darker/more adult and attempts to flesh out and expand on numerous aspects of the film.
