Welcome to my review of Shallows of Night. This is the second book in Eric Van Lustbader's Sunset Warrior sequence. Lustbader is probably more famous for his books about Jason Bourne but this was an early fantasy series released in the late 1970s. It follows Ronin who has escaped from the Freehold (an underground city) and seeks help in his battle against the Dolman a demon threatening to destroy everything.
