I have been following Marty Friedman since his inception with Megadeth back in 1990,...& I even had the opportunity to sit down with the man in 2016. Since that time, there has never been any doubt how talented (& wonderfully diverse) he is on guitar. However, the distinctive trait I feel that is often overlooked when people speak of Marty is his precise attention to performance AND his uncanny (& seamless) ability to take fans on a musical ride that encompasses BOTH the heavy & the beauty of subtlety. This past Thursday, March 9th, 2023 Marty once again proved these sentiments to be true. SO, let me take this opportunity to share with you this wonderful footage I shot of the man at the Vibes Event Center here in San Antonio, so that you can witness for yourself the magic of one of our generations great guitar heroes. ~ El Mero Metal
