Someone broke into a home in the 15,000 block of Southwest 75th Ave in the Florida Highlands. Once inside they stole approximately $20 in cash.
A garage in the 13,700 block of Southeast 101st Terrace was entered while the door was open and someone stole tools and damaged the car inside the garage. Total loss and damages are around $4500.
Someone broke into a shed located in the 4000 block of Southeast 19th Ave in Citrus Park and stole 8 fishing poles and a ladder. Total loss is around $1200.
Deputy Reese arrested 30 year old Paul Birley after an investigation revealed that Paul was riding in the car with the victim when they got into verbal altercation. During the altercation the driver missed the exit so Paul decided to choke the victim causing the car to serve while driving on I-75. Paul was transported to the Gold Star Hotel.
