A cover of Mario Minor by Powerglove of off the album 'Metal Kombat For The Mortal Man', taken from the games Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario World.
The Super Mario series always had some amazing, well written music, and when it comes to metal arrangements of Mario music, I think it's pretty damn hard to beat Powerglove!
We decided to just do a straight up cover of the original and try to recreate the song as best as possible, except without the Whammy pedal (as I didn't own one at the time) and in standard tuning instead of down to Eb like Powerglove usually tune to!
This cover was done back in 2017 as part of a video game music cover album, 'A Generation's Legacy', from my band Oroborus back when there were only two of us. This is why the mixing isn't as good and up to date, but hopefully still enjoyable!
