A full cover of Beneath The Mire by Opeth, of their album 'Ghost Reveries'.
This is one of my favourites off of the album, and criminally underrated within Opeth's discography!
As a massive prog fan, I certainly enjoyed covering this one, layering up all the guitars and vocals, and messing around with keys. I was also too lazy to set up the microphone for acoustic guitar, so I hope you don't mind the use of the piezo instead!
Technically, I think it's pretty easy but the structure is what makes it difficult, as no section of the song repeats.
I'm especially happy with the mix on this one so I hope you enjoy it!
Oh, and in case if anyone noticed, I did change bass tuning mid song!
Much easier to change from Drop D to Standard after the first guitar solo, rather than playing the latter half of the song in D!
