A cover of All Hail Shadow from the games Shadow The Hedgehog, as well as Sonic The Hedgehog (2006).
I know the general feelings towards both the games the song is featured in aren't exactly great, but personally, I actually love both of these 3D Sonic games! Crush 40 is definitely a band I've grown up with despite not being the biggest Sonic fan out there. They've definitely been a staple band in defining my taste in rock music, and a very important band in getting me to pay attention to video game music.
While this song is originally done by Magna Fi, I've largely based this version around the Crush 40 arrangement, as I prefer that version more!
I did have to change the key of the song to suit my vocal range, but I figure while I'm messing around with the arrangement, I'd make full use of my 7 string guitar and give it that more metal sound my covers have instead of a rock arrangement like the original.
Lastly, I know my vocals aren't great here, I can only dream of being anywhere close to the talents of Johnny Gioeli, but it was still good practice for me, and hopefully you can still enjoy the cover!
