This can be done straight after getting Trio Grab, and skips two cutscenes. It also makes it possible to skip ever getting battle cards, but we use them extensively in the final boss fights in a speedrun, so it's really not worth it in Any% No IBG. And in Any%, we don't even visit this area because we do Trio Grab Skip (youtu.be/3Qe2fDtDRRY) instead.
To do this, use Trio Grab and then just run into the top-right corner of the platform, then tap either down or up (down is more consistent). You should be able to get Out of Bounds without too much difficulty.
