Showing off my progress on my new MKDD editor. While not yet finished, it already contains an extensive set of features that make it easy to edit the race tracks. For the demonstration I'm revisiting the Mario Circuit 1 track port I did a while ago. Track shown in action at 7:32 in the video
Total time spent in the editor in the video was below 30 minutes (not including some additional time I spent off-screen fixing some crash and checkpoint issues which could've been avoided if I was more careful). No adding or deleting objects yet, that would've further sped up track editing.

![Pikmin 2 Custom Text demo [with BMG tool download]
Download link to the BMG tool below.
Several days worth of hard work has finally paid off. With a tool I wrote I was able to edit the text of Pikmin 2 and make it as long and as short as I wanted, and also use some of P2s fancy formatting that wouldnt be viable if you edited the BMG file with notepad++ or a hex editor due to character limits.
https://github.com/RenolY2/pikminBMG/releases Check the latest release (download the source code to download the tool).
Tool needs Python 3 (3.6 or newer recommended). Dont forget to read the included readme for some info on how to use the tool.
At the end of the video I had message boxes going up to 20, but the game crashed after the 8th one. Not sure if it is a limitation or if I messed something up.
Also, the video was supposed to have ingame sound but it turns out I didnt record it. Instead, have some fitting music (Thanks GilvaSunner for the high quality rip). Pikmin 2 Custom Text demo [with BMG tool download]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ve9cgdIQbSo/mqdefault.jpg)

![MKDD: early Sherbet Land race course [ In-Game Video ]
This is play-through of the early/in-development version of Sherbet Land (called dekoboko internally) that can be found in the files of a MKDD demo located on the European November 2003 GC demo disc.
Ive seen some people have trouble getting the level to work, but its actually possible to port the level over into the final version of MKDD.
I put the model, collision and sky box of dekoboko over the final Sherbet Land course, deleted the BTK files and the BTI file that the final Sherbet Land had and also put dekobokos Freezie model over the final Freezie model (snowrock1.bmd), so you see poorly textured freezies saying COOL.
I kept object placement and everything else from the final Sherbet Land. dekoboko comes with some objects and a .BOL file, but most of those objects do not fit in this level and the BOL file caused a crash for me, so I kept the final BOL file for the level.
