Amanda Louise Smith revived The Human League’s 1981 worldwide smash “Don’t You Want Me” (US #1, UK #1) for Pete Waterman’s PWL Records. (This is a Spanish pressing of the title.)
Mandy – who was once married to Rolling Stones’ bassist, Bill Wyman – released he debut album, “Mandy” in 1987. It was a hit in Germany and Italy. Four singles were pulled from the album and they charted in Germany and Italy too.
“Don’t You Want Me Baby” was a non-album single. It reached #59 in the UK and #13 in Italy. It was, essentially, her last recording.
