What's up Geekly Goods fam! 🤯 Man of Tomorrow has officially wrapped filming, with James Gunn sharing the news himself on Threads, writing, "That's a wrap on principal photography for Man of Tomorrow. Truly a joyful experience, and I have immense gratitude to my cast and crew."
David Corenswet returns as Superman, bringing along an absolutely stacked cast that includes Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, and Lars Eidinger making his live-action debut as Brainiac. The sequel follows Superman and Luthor reluctantly teaming up to face this much bigger cosmic threat, and it's set to arrive in theaters July 9th, 2027.
That release date puts it in direct competition with Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, which is currently eyeing that same general window. That's going to be one seriously loaded summer at the box office.
