What's up Geekly Goods fam! 👀 James Marsden is teasing that the X-Men will show up with brand new costumes carrying entirely new intentions and intensities in Avengers: Doomsday.
Speaking with Empire Magazine, Marsden said, "It's an absolute collision of three gigantic universes, coming together in the face of a very serious existential threat. You're seeing time on screen. You're seeing these characters from 27 years ago, in new costumes, with new intentions and intensities." Marsden's Cyclops costume in the Doomsday teaser is already heavily inspired by the character's iconic look from X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men '97, a clear departure from the black leather suits Fox's original trilogy was known for. He joins fellow X-Men legacy stars Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Kelsey Grammer, Alan Cumming, and Rebecca Romijn, all confirmed to return alongside the Avengers, the Wakandans, and the Fantastic Four.
