Box office analyst Brandon Katz just put out a new post citing that Clayface's overall audience awareness is lagging behind expectations. The good news is that the people who do want to see this movie are genuinely locked in and ready to show up opening weekend. The concerning part is that only about 32% of the target audience is even aware this film exists, compared to 38% for similar films at this same point in their marketing cycle. So there's a small but genuinely passionate audience here, but the real question is whether that passion translates into strong enough numbers at the box office to offset such a low overall awareness level.
