What's up Geekly Goods fam! 👀 Check out this first look at Eddie Brock in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2, and here's some genuinely cool news: Josh Keaton is set to voice the character.
If you don't know Josh Keaton, this is such an awesome reunion. He originally voiced Peter Parker himself in The Spectacular Spider-Man back in 2008, one of the most beloved animated Spider-Man series ever made, and he actually already appeared earlier in this very show, voicing Richard Parker in the Season 1 finale. Now he's stepping into Eddie Brock, the future host of the Venom symbiote. In this version, Eddie works as a reporter for the Daily Bugle rather than the Daily Globe like in the comics, tying him more directly into Peter's world. The Season 2 preview shown at D23 also teased the symbiote fully taking over Spider-Man by the end of the season, complete with that iconic black suit.
