in which alexandra makes a pair of death star earrings by hand!
hello potential friends! i've had these little wooden beads for a while (initially purchased so that i could make planet earrings, which i still haven't done) and making the death star seemed like a natural choice. they're quite sloppy looking and quaint, but i genuinely really like them and will be wearing them to work today! if i did them again, i would work harder to make the dent of the dish more pronounced and also paint it so it stood out more, as it blends in a bit with the rest of the design at a distance. still, i'm calling this experiment a success!
