in which alexandra shows the difference between how she gets ready for a date vs getting ready for any other day in which she has to leave the house
fun fact: i did genuinely have a date the day i filmed this, and i was ACTUALLY LATE. i met the gf at the theatre one commercial before black panther started and we had to sit in the front row because the ENTIRE THEATRE was full (which is great! smash those box office numbers, black panther!) luckily we could still see fine because we were dead centre (we moved there from the end of the row literally at the last second before the movie started, it was a snap decision that was brilliant) and black panther was obvs fantastic. i would do a review but the review would JUST be me talking about how it changed the game, and i feel like my reviews are better if i have something to be angry about
another fun fact: this whole video is a lie, it still takes me an hour to get out of bed even on date day, i just get up a little earlier to do the shower and makeup thing.
a third fun fact: this video is the absolute truth, because i'm wearing that beanie right now over my unwashed hair, which is in pigtails, and i pulled these clothes i'm wearing right now off the floor of my room before stumbling out the door without having showered, eaten, or put on a bra. im a certified mess (and even more so than video me), but i can be out the door in under ten minutes usually if i decide to be even more gross and skip the concealer and mascara
