The entire southwestern United States is full of numerous cultural and historic sites, and one of the most accessible locations to explore them is at Bandelier National Monument. With NPS maintained ladders to explore the cliff dwellings of the ancestral pueblo people, the Main Loop Trail is a great introduction to the area. For those that are more adventurous, the ladders up to Alcove House provide great views of Frijoles Canyon.
