Luminous Avenger iX | Part 11: Secret Sumeragi Bunker 3
The Butterfly Effect is no more and Mytyl is finally at peace. There's just one are that remains.
Before that, we have rematches against the remaining members of the Falcons: Isola, Bakto and Dystnine. Once they are dealt with, we take on the one truly in charge of Sumeragi, someone known as Demerzel. But he looks like Asimov. This surprises Copen but he assures him that he is beyond humanity and has finally achieved his goal.
In the original Gunvolt timeline, Gunvolt survived getting shot by Asimov but Joule didn't and her Septima, Muse would join GV in taking him down. But not here. In this alternate timeline, Asimov kills GV and Joule. So he was in need of a new King and Queen. He would capture Blade and infuse her with the Azure Striker septima becoming his King and then using Mytyl as his queen. In doing so, he had what he needed to control all Adepts and rule the world while wiping out non-Adepts known as Minos.
So Copen now has to stop Asimov/Demerzel. The boss fight is a tough one and his weakness is the Shroud Spear. He loves using Electric attacks so bring the pain if needed. His special skill is Voltic Chains. He'll do it three times so you need to time your dodges to avoid the attack. After beating him, turns out Asimov isn't really real. Suddenly three containers appear and Copen is struck by lightning, revealing a camera eye. Seems Copen had become a cyborg in the century since then. As for Demerzel, he turns out to be pure electricity and is ready to put an end to the Luminous Avenger.
This fight against Demerzel is a challenge since you can only damage him on the orb on top where he's at. He has a plethora of attacks that can be damaging if you're careless. His SP attack Voltic Chain Meteor starts off small at first but it gets vicious when he unleashes a Voltic Chain Meteor to damage you. You need to avoid his attacks or else you'll get hit hard. Very hard. Trust me, I know because I died against him. But aside from that, he's a challenging foe.
We beat Demerzel but being the bad guy he is delivers a strike that knocks Copen and Lola out. Kohaku arrives only to contend with Asimov clones. Fortunately her sister Blade appears to save her in the nick of time. She tells her to go on ahead and get Copen out. She reaches where Copen is only to find him and Lola knocked out. She sees Demerzel already entering sleep mode to repair itself. Taking his gun, Kohaku fires a shot destroying Demerzel once and for all.
The world is saved. Kohaku and Blade take Copen and Lola out of there as a new dawn awaits the world. Our work ain't finished yet though.
Part 12 will have us tackle the Special Stages and take on harder versions of the Falcons.
