Playthrough | Part 5: Turmoil in Two Worlds
This here's a double whammy of sorts so let's get down to business.
Neptune is back home in the Hyperdimension but Histoire is burned out. So she gets help from the other CPUs on a way to help the Oracle. After finding out where it's at, Neptune heads off. It's also here we're introduced to Route Building. To get to new areas or optional dungeons, we need to use Route Building. We spend credits to form a road to the next area. In this case, it's the First-Gen CPU's Sanctuary. Yes, it reuses the same dungeon as it was in Re;Birth1 and 3 but it don't matter. Neptune's here to find Sanshiro's Soul Patch. This means butting heads with a dragon. No big deal. Once she gets that, she returns to Planeptune and inserts the Soul Patch into Histoire. All they can do now is wait and hope for the best.
Back at the Zerodimension, due to Arfoire's attack, the transfer terminal is destroyed. Uzume is angry at Nepgear for staying behind. Umio tells her to calm down as they need to escape Arfoire. So now they got to move and get to safety. Nepgear explains why she did what she did. Uzume doesn't care, despite Nepgear's reasoning. Umio assures him that they need a plan. So for now, all they can do is evacuate and come up with a plan to retaliate. This leads us to Datoyna Cave. After dealing with monsters, they reach the end only to cross paths with Arfoire. They fell into her trap so they have no choice but to fight.
They take on Arfoire. Have your party use their strongest attacks to take her down. Arfoire has four bars so buff and then bring the pain. Afterwards, Arfoire transforms into a form similar to the Deity of Sin's final form. Both CPUs take heavy damage but then someone else decides to intrude. Or should we say drop in.
It's Neptune, but not really. This adult version is from the Ultradimension. Since this one never became a CPU, thanks to Plutia, she grew up to be an adult who loves to catch bugs. She is mentioned in the true ending of Neptunia Victory/Re;Birth3 so this game marks her first full-time appearance. She joins us as we take on Arfoire. Arfoire ain't that tough but you really should be careful.
After defeating Arfoire, the heroes don't know what to do with her. Uzume wants to beat her down but Ultra-Neptune has a better plan. She puts her in her Specimen Book. This freaks Arfoire out so she ends up getting captured.
So what's the deal with this alternate Neptune anyway? We'll find out in Part 6.
