The Ancient Gods Part One | Part 1: UAC Atlantica Facility
Though we beat the campaign and defeated the Icon of Sin, the story is NOT over yet. Nope. We got more. We got DLC and we're getting started. Welcome to the first of two DLC for Doom Eternal, The Ancient Gods Part One.
The Ancient Gods Part One was released on October 20, 2020. This takes place after the events of Doom Eternal. Despite defeating the Icon of Sin and halting Hell's invasion of Earth, Doom Slayer's victory came with a price. Khan Maykr's dead. Hell has conquered Urdak. These two actions have given the demons a chance to not only dominate all dimensions but also restart their invasion of Earth. Now to prevent this, Doom Slayer along with Samurel Hayden and a group of ARC scientists, head on a mission to find and liberate the Seraphim, an ally to the Slayer.
Our first stop takes us to the UAC Atlantic Facility and it's here where the kid gloves come off. Seriously. The gloves come off now and if you've played this game, you better be ready because these guys will play for keeps. You still have all your weapons except for the Crucible. So you will need to use them to fight and to survive. There are also some new monsters to contend with such as Spirits, Giant Tentacles and Turrets. There are even tougher foes too but I'll save those for much later.
This is a long one so hope you enjoy this ride. At the end, we find the Seraphim's contaiment pod. Part 2 has us heading to The Blood Swamps.
